Rules, Policies ...things for everyone's benefit...
Artist & Guest Conduct
- If it's illegal or your going to make a mess of our place by being a dummy, no. Easy right? :)
- Smoking is not permitted in the studio buildings, BUT you may smoke outside. (Let us know if you will be, so we can provide a bucket with sand.)
- Artists and Guests are responsible for any damages to studio equipment and property. It's only fair.
- Guests - You many bring guests if they comply with studio policies.
- Communication with Studio - Phone calls and email are the way to communicate with us. We desire these ways so misunderstandings can be avoided.
Time Accounting
- Be on time. The clock starts at the scheduled session start time.
- Band and studio setup, tear-down, mixdowns, burning discs, mic placements, and sound check time is on the clock.
- If you cannot make a session, notify us 24 hours ahead. It is to the studio's discretion whether to charge for missed sessions if not given sufficient notice. We do understand real emergencies can happen as well.
- If in the unfortunate event that there are technical difficulties with the studio's recording equipment (major issues more than 10 minute fix, hardware breaks or needs fixing), that time will not be charged against the artist.
Payment
- Payment, unless otherwise agreed upon in the contract, is required at the end of each session.
- Payment methods may be Cash or Check only. Cash is preferred.
- Receipts are available. Also a copy of the studio log is available.
- Final, CD/release quality mixes will be provided upon final payment of services. Rough mixes may be furnished throughout the process as needed.
- Additionally, the copyright of any and all recordings and mixes are owned by the studio until the balance of a project is met.
Safety, Liability, General
- We obviously want to keep you safe. We hope nothing ever happens to your or your guests. If you get hurt on the premises, not matter what happened, the studio and the property owner(s) are NOT responsible for any injury or death.
- The studio, employees, and property owner(s) are not responsible for any damage to your personal property.
- It is also preferred clients and guests do not leave/store their equipment and instruments at the studio. One, for liability's sake. Two, there are other projects coming in and out, which make it very easy for equipment to get mixed/swapped, taken, broken, etc..
- The management reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone.
